Zoë Fisher on SoundBetter

I can be your demo vocalist, top line tracks, and/or collaborate with you on specific projects involving singing and songwriting.

Hey I'm Zoë and I work as a professional songwriter, demo singer and vocal arranger/producer/engineer in Los Angeles. I'm a classically trained vocalist and have toured Europe in competitive choral competitions, sung on numerous stages, trained and performed in musical theatre, and most of all have spent countless hours in studios writing, recording, and producing since I was thirteen.

Check out the link to the private SoundCloud playlist with just a couple projects I've been involved with in the last year. My focus is pop but I've worked with artists who range from RnB/Hip Hop to Folk/Country and much more. I have written hundreds of songs, worked with hundreds of artists and look forward to collaborating with you here on SoundBetter.

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

Interview with Zoë Fisher

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: All types of Pop. Indie/Pop, Electro/Pop, and RnB/Pop are just a few. I'm quite versatile in my capabilities and always looking for a new creative challenge.

  3. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  4. A: Melody has always been my strength. I love words too and am a gifted lyricist; there's nothing like a good lyric. But I have relative pitch and a highly trained ear so nothing gets me as excited as does a strong melody. I am a classically trained vocalist as well so I can sing most anything that is given to me.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I started on Logic when I was fourteen then moved to Ableton a couple years ago. I have a Shure SM7B with a cloud lifter, pop filter, and sE electronics reflexion filter, Focusrite scarlett interface, M-Audio midi controller and a bunch of plugins I've collected over the years (soundtoys, fabfilter, waves, antares, spectrasonics, native instruments, etc).

  7. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  8. A: As a songwriter, I'm inspired mostly by Coldplay, Imogen Heap, Sia, Jon Bellion, Phil Collins, John Mayer, and Joni Mitchell, but to me it's more about the song than it is about the artist. As a vocal producer, I really look up to Max Martin and his whole team: Savan, Ilya, Shellback etc. As an artist, Matt Corby, MUNA, The 1975, Francis and the Lights, Banks, Ariana Grande.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: For past clients, I have: written songs, written + recorded top-lines for beats, written vocal arrangements, and recorded demo vocals.
