SPYR on SoundBetter

Producer, Songwriter, and Mixing Engineer creating professional, release-ready music for artists worldwide.

Hi, I'm SPYR, a Music Producer, Songwriter, Mixing & Mastering Engineer, and DJ based in India.

Over the years, I've worked with artists across EDM, House, Pop, and Electronic Music, helping turn ideas, demos, and rough concepts into polished, release-ready records. Whether you're starting with a vocal, melody, lyric, or simply an idea in your head, I can help bring your vision to life.

My services include full music production, ghost production, co-writing, mixing, and mastering. I focus on creating music that sounds professional, connects with listeners, and stays true to the artist's identity.

I believe great music comes from collaboration, clear communication, and attention to detail. Every project receives the same level of care and dedication that I put into my own music, from the first idea to the final master.

Services:
• Full Music Production
• Ghost Production
• Songwriting & Co-Writing

If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your music and your vision, I'd love to hear about your project.

Interview with SPYR

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on a project for a Bollywood actor "Vivek Oberoi" for his diamond company brand launching in Dubai and I produced a song for his launch and was showcased on Burj Khalifa.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on a multi genre album of mine since the past 4 years but it leans to a little more influence to bass music

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: No I am sorry I do not know anyone here actually haha

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Analog cuz the natural warmth it gives out that digital cannot copy.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise is that I will treat every project as my own child and make it into something that has never been experienced before and make it the best of both worlds.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Making music from the bottom of my heart

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Whats my rate haha? I always tell them the rate and tell them I can negotiate

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People think that we are musicians and we get all the lavishes like expensive cars, big houses, girls and a lot of friends and stuff. They think we might do drugs and stuff. Reality is we are sorta lonely and we struggle more to get there and we don't have a golden spoon in our mouths and we need to earn that spoon.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What is your budget? What genre do I need to do it in? Any reference tracks? Is there anything I should know?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Think of this: You walk in a market full of 100 sellers and they sell things and some are quite enthusiastic, some are rude, some products are well kept and some products are damaged. Find the seller you find has the most unique setup all over his store cuz they say "What they see, SELLS"

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A Laptop Arturia Microfreak Behrdynamics DT990s Maschine by Native Instruments or a Push 3 Launchkey Mini

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I am 26 now and I have been DJing since the age of 13 and producing since the age of 16. I started his cuz of Animals by Martin Garrix and Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex. I have been here for over 13 years now and I started off using FL and now using 4 different DAWs is crazy. I am looking forward on doing my bachelors in sound engineering thru SAE and I did my diploma in it back in 2023. Now I just teach and I am a Level 2 seller now on Fiverr and I meet new people almost everyday which is the best thing bout my job haha

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: If I had two words i would describe it as: POWERFUL and GRIMY

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Skrillex. 100%!!!! Sonny has been supporting young acts irrespective to their followers or whatever but he has been looking out for talent on the constant and supporting upcoming artists. Also, I could learn a thing or two from him in his production styles and maybe learn more undiscovered studio ethics with him.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: One goated music production tip I can share is sidechain compression and lock it to your kicks and the amount of mud it removes is quite insane.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I work on all sorts of genres if you ask me but as SPYR, as an artist if you ask, I work on Dubstep, Drum and Bass, House and Trap

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Music Production and Mixing and Mastering

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring life in a song as much as possible and even if i am getting paid to work on a song, I will treat as if it is mine and bring my feelings and love to it to make it sound like a finished product.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Lol, I have a huge folder called Build a House and underneath it, it contains 4 folders called Bricks, Walls, Houses and Homes. So in bricks they are basic ideas like 8 bar loops and stuff and Walls i go thru these bricks and i see what is worth finishing and houses folder has the finished production and homes is a final track with mixing and mastering. I saw it from a youtube video and I have been using it eversince and its a total gamechanger!!

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I produce on Ableton 12, FL Studio, Logic Pro and Pro Tools. I dont have a great setup but I use Edifiers MR4s at home and I work with HS5 in studios. I personally own a Arturia Microfreak and a Pioneer XDJ-RR and I am eye-ing towards a moog synth.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Skrillex and Fred again... inspire me a lot. Skrillex and Fred both have this uniqueness in their sounds and how they lay their drums and bass and synths and lastly up[on how they arrange and thing, it attracts me towards them and their sounds

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I am a Music Producer and Audio Engineer. I am also a Level 2 seller on Fiverr and I mainly teach students on how to become Music Producers, DJs and Audio Engineers. I also do Ghost Production Services there and even Mixing and Mastering.
