I'm new here. Let's mix some audio!
I am a sound engineer with experience in various fields. I worked in a live sound, theater, radio and recording studio. Currently, I focus on TV sound, where I produce live programmes or record and do post-production.
I'm proficient with EBU loudness standards.
I'm used to remote (and very fast) workflow used in radio and TV production.

Interview with Michał Nowak
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Few years ago I was mixing audio for Europe Conference League football match live in 5.1.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Preparing to record some guitars. I love tube amplifiers. Both, as a guitar amp or microphone preamp.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: not yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, but if I had to chose one - digital, because it gives many possibilities.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best with your song. I sign final product with my name, the same as you.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the most coming back to old recordings. They are the same as they were years ago! Exciting :)
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Yes, I really need ".wav" file. ".mp3" won't work.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is thinking I can made a miracle. Song will be great if tracks are recorded great. Instruments should be tuned, played in time.. :)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are they going to do with final material (loudness standards). Which file format they need.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The most important is knowledge and experience. Gear is only an addition.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Tube-Tech SMC2B, TC Electronic P2 LEVEL PILOT x4 ;)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: live sound, theater, radio, recording studio, TV since 2012
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like energy and dynamics in mix. Compression should be accurate.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pat Metheny, because of precision going with every sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Change playback: stereo, mono, quiet, loud, speakers, headphones.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: rock, pop, blues, jazz
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Experience in many fields of audio.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I hear music in both ways - technically and artistically. Sometimes I propose small changes in an arrangement.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First of all proportions. When they
