I'm a Brooklyn based producer who has received support from EDM artists like deadmau5, Lane 8, Don Diablo, Tritonal, Madison Mars, and Zonderling on my personal music. Now, I'm here to deliver that star-approved quality to other people across all genres of music.
With an initial passion for EDM, I have worked with genres and artists across the entire spectrum of music. In the majority of my client work, I engage in Mastering & Mentorship/Guidance. However, I also offer my developed skills as a Mixing Engineer, Producer, Lyricist, and Guitarist on a more selective basis. I have been creating music on and off for 10 years, but it has become a serious occupation for me over the last 5 years. I primarily work in Ableton myself; however, I do have some level of experience across nearly every DAW.

Interview with Maxwell Hulsebusch
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Viktoria Liv, she's a personal friend of mine and very talented Producer/Vocalist.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I think the end goal is most important here, there are certain qualities of each that can help you, it just depends what you're looking for. The largest power you can have is a thorough understanding of both, so you know which palette you want to pull from, but don't limit yourself to one or the other entirely.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is that I'm changing the song when I work for a client. With every step I take, I try not to be altering a client's vision; rather, enhancing it. I never want to decide which color you should use, I just want to help you shade in the colors you pick.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The biggest production tip I can offer is never completely disregard an idea, even if it's out of your comfort zone, sometimes that's a good thing. It's worth it to give every idea a chance, you can always restart if it doesn't work out.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on EDM; however, I have vast experience with other genres like alternative, pop, and ambient music all the same.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is experimentation and persistence, I'm not afraid to bend the rules, think outside of the box, and keep tweaking things until the right result is reached. No one cares how you get there, you just have to get there!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process is very intimate and personal in the moment; however, outside of the studio, it's very collaborative and shared. I have a well knit group of collaborators and peers in the music scene, and I extensively value their feedback on my work all the same.
