I prioritize bringing out the core emotion of the songs I work on so they connect with listeners. I've worked on hundreds of songs for labels and independent artists across a wide and diverse range of genres.

I believe the mix is where a song and its emotion will either land and immerse the listener in a new world or get lost and miss out on the opportunity to connect with a listener. For that reason, I see mixing as a fundamentally creative and artistic endeavor before a technical one. As a record mixer, I believe it’s my responsibility to ensure that songs connect with a listener in the way they were intended to. Every choice I make is guided by how the song should feel, so that listeners can engage with the artist’s work in a completely unadulterated way. I bring the same care to every project I take on that I would give it if it were my own, and I work very closely with artists and producers to achieve the sound and feeling they want for the record.
My favorite records have always felt like worlds for me to get lost in. I’ve seldom thought about the mix of those records, yet all along it was the mix that allowed me to connect with them the way I did. I aim to create that same experience for others with what I do.
