Mix Engineer and producer with numerous critically acclaimed alternative and experimental records to his name. Numerous mixes with international sync, radio and playlisting. Guitarist and producer in alt rock/metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs [Pigs x7], and owner and producer at leading North East commercial studio Blank Studios.

Sam is a recording engineer, mixer and producer, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England, working out of his own commercial studio, Blank Studios.

Starting out in 2008, sam has amassed releases and credits over the last 15 years for a number of the leading independent labels (Domino, Ninja Tune, Mute etc..) as well as the majors.

Specialising in alternative and experimental leaning music, his work has made numerous end of year lists, radio plays, and synchronisations. His studio, Blank Studios, is well regarded nationally and is seen as one of the leading recording and production facilities in the North East.

Sam also specialises in mastering audio for vinyl, with hundreds of albums mastered with the requirements of vinyl in mind, including DMM.

He also writes and plays guitar in alt rock / metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. As a musician he has extensively toured UK, Europe and the US, and is currently endorsed by Fender, Orange Amplification, and Earthquaker Devices.
