I'm Günther Alexander, of Introspective Music. I'm a Music Producer/Sound Engineer and perpetual student of the arts. I offer mixing/remote mixing services as well as music production and mastering. I'm also an award winning artist and songwriter. I created my studio space to be a safe haven for creativity, a place to make music away from the noise. I strive to create technically solid mixes and deliver intuitive sound defining production. Always searching for new frontiers and methods to define and shape each mix or artist I produce. I observe, I uncover, I probe and discover your definitive sound identity.
My hope and desire is to contribute to the mixing and music making process by bringing my own unique set of skills, gifts, abilities and intuition. I've had several number 1 songs on radio countdowns, and won an award for my self produced debut album. I've written and produced music for TV. Mixed, mastered and produced for numerous artists.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Depeche Mode. As one of the pioneers of electronic music they invented and defined a unique sound combined with truthful song writing.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It's all about the song.

A: All kinds of popular music, alternative, pop, rock, electronic
Q: What's your strongest skill?

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: In my production and mixing I draw on years of experience in songwriting, arranging and creating interesting sonic textures by uncovering the spirit or truth behind the song and what its trying to say. Using sounds and making mixing decisions to bring out the true emotion of the song. I also strive to find something unique about the artist and try to develop that and bring it out.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to production, I'll work with the artist for a period of time, then I'll need to spend some time alone working on the song. We'll work like this back and forth till it's done. As far as mixing goes, I prefer to mix alone and at a time where I can focus and be inspired. The client will usually check in from time to time or I'll upload the files for them to hear the progress.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Logic exclusively. I've been working in Logic since version 4. I'm running a 12 core Mac pro. I don't have any fancy outboard mixing desks or analogue gear except my mic preamps. I make use plugins such as UAD, Slate Digital, Waves, Voxengo, PSP, Spectrasonics, Native Instruments and many others. I had a bunch of hardware synths from Korg and Ensoniq but I've sold most of them.

A: Depeche Mode, the 80's
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
