  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: The recording just mentioned, why because they was an old style 96mp3 swirl in the top end which needed to be removed and they overall sound turned out pretty amazing considering what was initially sent

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I have just finish work on some old Flyboy recordings so they can work with a better product than they originally had.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Only just started here, but as i get to know people I'm sure that i can recommend others, that might best suit their needs

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Mainly digital, why because, The technology today is running very close to analog, plus in digital you get the option of things not in the analog world, and with a bit of creativity you can create analog warmth

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To give you 100 % effort in getting the best for you.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I love being able to bring out the most in artist or bands production, it make me happy when they are smiling within nodding their heads at what they produced

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Can you lift the kick more. Yes I can as long as it's actually in the mix already

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it's easy

  18. A: Loudness, genre, style Bass heavy, top heavy, do you want it to sound a specific way, it's all about what you want

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Good communicator, so we get the finished product you want and get the best results for you personally

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I have been a musician for about 30 years or so, done plenty of touring recording over the years, in the last 8 years i started doing my own recording and mixing and moved over to Mastering, started with my own stuff then started working for various band and their recording for release.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Balanced

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Steve Albini or Butch Vig

  27. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  28. A: Top end control

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: always start with the drums and build from that up and outwards in mixing if mastering, it's all about tonal balance resonance and loudness.

  31. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  32. A: I use a mac and lots of high end eq, compression and a whole box full of tools to deal with all issues with audio Mastering.

  33. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  34. A: I'm pretty much inspired by all music, I love rick ruben, steve albini I love creative music if that's lo-fi or super produced rock to over the top lound RnB

  35. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  36. A: LA2A, Digital V3, Maat Orange, Maat Blue, Fabfilter L2

  38. A: Small moves make great changes

  40. A: Hardcore Punk And Metal also EDM
