Michael Duncan

Michael Duncan on SoundBetter

Michael Duncan is a producer, recording engineer, and mixer based in NYC.

Hi! My name is Michael Duncan. I’m a record producer, engineer, and mixer. After years of studying music in school, I began my career as an intern at Headgear Recording, a studio frequented by bands like TV on the Radio, The Hold Steady, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The National. From there, I left to assist a string of producers and engineers—beginning with Dan Romer, followed by John Siket, and later Andrew Maury—who all strengthened my passion for music production.

I have years of experience working in numerous studios alongside amazing artists and producers/engineers. I've worked with Grammy Award-winning artists, independent bands, and everyone in between. (I play guitar, keys, and bass too.)

Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to work together!
