At the age of 6: Musically influenced by his parents, MarQuis knew music was his way of life. Starting from watching concerts of Michael Jackson, Keith Sweat, H-Town, SisQo & more.
At Valdosta High School, MarQuis played football, ran track, joined the inaugural swim team, participated in talent shows, & more.
While at Bethune-Cookman University, MarQuis became the first ever, Mr. Freshman. In 2012 he founded, Grown Man Records®️ MarQuis is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity Inc. As well as Thee Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Through all of the hard work & other achievements, MarQuis graduated in Spring 2016 with his bachelors degree in Music Recording Technology. Concentrating in Voice; with a minor in Business|Entrepreneurship. Music Department Senior of the Year
