NARSI on SoundBetter

Taking the rough ideas to the final destination in sync with the artist's vision excites me the most.

Inspired by modern sonics and lush sound design techniques I take every job like it is the best song on the planet. Adding a different perspective to the original ideas and still maintaining a proper balance towards the vision of the artist is my speciality.
I work in the 100% digital paradigm, bringing that unique crisp and shine to the overall sound spectrum.

Interview with NARSI

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Digital Flexibility and Accessibility.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: Listen to the sound. If you relate to it everything else is secondary.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: MAC, APOLLO TWIN, MICROPHONE, MONITERS AND KOMPLETE KONTROL

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I started production back in 2013 right after finishing Automobile Engineering. It used to get very exciting and frustrating at the same time in the starting days. But as the time passed it just got better and better. Now, I am fortunate enough to work with amazing artists and also release my own songs all together.

  9. Q: How would you describe your style?

  10. A: Hard Hitting dulcet sonics.

  11. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  12. A: I would love to work with Mike Dean because I love experimentation on my personal projects a lot.

  13. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  14. A: Less but lush is always better.

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: Most of the projects on my work list are Dance and Energy driven.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: MIXING is my strongest link.

  19. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  20. A: Perfect blend of thickness with modern brightness is my special thing. I love taking projects to a certain level of perfection.

  21. Q: What's your typical work process?

  22. A: I mostly begin with drums and vocals, rest of it just falls nicely along the process.

  23. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  24. A: Starting from the monitors I use Hedd type 7 with Apollo Twin MkII. For recordings I use Telefunken T29 with Neve Pre Amp. Slate Digital has really influenced my sound lately. For additional monitoring I use Beyerdynamics DT 990 PRO. The Komlpete Kontrol S49 and Maschine MK3 makes my production workflow really fast and intuitive.

  25. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  26. A: I really like the way Mike Dean and Metro Boomin experiment with the sound.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: Production enhancement and mixing is what I do the most.
