Versatile Producer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer. I work with artists producing, mixing, mastering or recording their songs, I am understanding and open-minded, focusing on mixing Indie Pop/Rock music, always looking for what is best for the song.
Hi! I'm Ismael, i'm a music producer, mixing, mastering engineer, and keyboard player.
My job as a producer is to help indie artists and bands to develop their sound, find the best arrangements and record everything in professional quality. Then, as a mixing and mastering engineer, I take care of balancing each element so that everything sounds like a complete work, ready to be heard on all streaming platforms!
I live in Cordoba, Argentina and I work remotely mainly mixing and mastering from my studio, I am a graduate of the career of Superior Technician in Sound from La Metro S.R.L, with extensive experience and more than 40 songs in which I have worked.
As an artist you will get from my services a professional quality production, mixing or mastering.
You can listen to some of the work I did for Cuarto Seis, Drica, Prana, Mizuki Amapola, Alameda, etc, in this spotify playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6pV58u9yCzBMITzEw6lj40?si=8af5427b59724f14

A: whether I work remotely or face-to-face. I work both ways
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: it is not a misunderstanding, but sometimes it is difficult to explain to non-musicians what the work as a music producer implies, since it includes several tasks and objectives that we must fulfill with the musicians (choosing where to record, how, when, where, choosing sounds, structures, etc...). it is a great job and I am happy to be able to do it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Currently using Adam monitors and a Yamaha NS10. I also like to run vocals through an Avalon pre. I work in Ableton Live where I produce, mix and master. I also like to check my mixes on AKG headphones.

A: Working with artists and seeing how we transformed the music in the process.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To talk a lot, having good communication is an elemental part of the process. Share and listen to music to know each other.

A: A piano, a computer, headphones, a Shure sm7b, and an audio interface UAD Apollo Twin.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been studying music since I was 5 years old and I continue to do so, first I was attracted to the piano as an instrument, and eventually, my attention was drawn to the work of composition and audio production.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to try things, trying not to overcook but at the same time I'm not scare of looking for some character when recording or mixing
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I love working with artists who have the need to transmit and get their songs out there.

A: I usually work with genres like Pop, Indie, Experimental, Rock and Jazz.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am very respectful and careful when I work with other people's music, I know it is important and that's why I try to empathize with it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: whatever the song needs to convey clearly what the artist is looking for. Emotion, dynamics, character, strength, it could be a lot of things.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First, listen and analyze the song, try to connect, and visualize a future plan to work with music in a creative way, seeking that the artist can feel identified in his music.
