I am a UK-based eclectic lyricist and award-winning composer and I am all about creating a poetic and unforgettable musical experience.

I have started out as a freelance songwriter, working mainly on my own projects, creating my first brainchild called AKIL at the age of 17. In 2020, I have started working as a freelance sound designer for indie plays and short films as well as video game campaigns. I have written experimental soundtracks for modern theatre interpretations of Macbeth and Angels in America, as well as original plays and experimental original short films. In February 2022, I won my first award for Best Sound Design.

In 2021, I started ghostwriting for a Russian record label called Radio Record, based in St. Petersburg, and in the summer of 2022, I have created my second solo project called Shika Lord which I use for my EDM releases. I have written songs for Armada Records and pitched my music to Love Island as well as indie directors like Joachim Lafosse and Bertie Gilbert and worked closely with Tileyard London's producers such as Jordan Round and NINSKI on their own projects (Apollo on the Run and xoxo). My songwriting works have been reviewed by Pop Passion Blog and Ed Heaton of Feel Good Music, and my film compositions have helped me secure places at top universities to study Sound Design.
