Our goal is to make dynamic masters, enhanced, open sounded, fat and warm. They need to be crystal clear and sound like " million dollar production " , and be competitive with greatest hits in overall volume, frequency balance, dynamics and punch. If the customer has some other wishes, sound color related, we will do so. Mastering audio in fusion mastering studio is one special personal experience like no other, cause our engineers will do every task like its they own. With that in mind they do get in connection with our customers giving them tips and advices about their songs, and music in general.We will also guide you through overall process of mix down by giving you tips for best possible mix down that you can get .

Interview with Fusion Mastering

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Well everyone who puts his soul into music. That goes for mixing and mastering engineers to. The thing is, if you give your self to the music, the music will thank you.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Main part are Mastering reference monitors made by Kristijan Skorjanec from Audio Modul . For control and conversion i use Lynx Hilo. Analog is custom api 550 stereo eq with stepped attenuators, custom mastering tube compressor, ssl g 4000 based compressor, and custom spl vitalizer II. In digital domain I use Focusrite Liquid mix and TC finalizer 96k as for the hardware, and in the box for the main platform I use is Wavelab 8,5, sonnox and brainworx plugins.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What it needs .. Sometimes files I get for processing are good enough so only thing is maybe to make it a bit louder, but sometimes I get cold raw tracks that need warmth, punch, stereo field, control on low and high end, so i give them that. It all depends on material i get.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Well.. we are focused mostly on restoration and mastering.
