With an ear for modern pop, rock and country, I've has worked with the likes of 2LATE, Dev Soter, Mark Taylor, and Valories. I've performed for over a decade as a touring musician with Mark Taylor and The Hollow Party, and I've made music for just as long. If there's a vision for the song, I want to see it through to the artist's liking.
I am a touring guitarist and Country/Rock producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. grew up playing gigs around the greater Baltimore and D.C. areas, and graduated with a double major in Music Production and Journalism from Elon University in 2020. I've been an award-winning lead guitarist for over 15 years, and as a part of The Hollow Party and Mark Taylor, I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with the likes of Keith Urban, Jon Pardi, Yellowcard, and All Time Low. I've also had the honor of recording with world-class musicians who've recorded on George Strait, Lainey Wilson, and Matchbox Twenty records.

Interview with Andrew Vendelis
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: There aren't any rules, just do what feels right and what sounds good to your ears, and go from there. Also, NEVER put reverb or delay on a master (or maybe do it, see what it sounds like).
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I primarily focus on alternative, pop and country. I also have produced and mixed for hip-hop, rap and metal.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: The skill of being able to correctly interpret whatever request creatively may come my way. I'll ask qualifying questions to pick the minds of whoever I'm working with in order to get the best product that we can create.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring over a decade of experience both as a touring and studio musician, and with our unique studio setup, I can confidently say that it can take on a session of any sorts (unless it's a huge orchestra obviously). I also think that I have the ability to see a vision through to completion, whether it be individually or collaborative.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to start by gauging what an artist is interested in and what has been inspiring them creatively as of late. From there, if we have a project already started, we'll dive right into the session. If not, I always try to start from a point of where the artists feels best jumping into a session, and go from there.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I share a studio with my bandmates in The Hollow Party in south Nashville. There, we have a professionally treated room, setup with both an Apollo x4 and 8x for 12 total inputs. From there, we go out through a set of dual Kali and Yamaha HS7 pairs, using the Apollos for monitoring. We also have a live-tracking room where we can do anything from guitar/vocal demos to full-band multitracking!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Eddie Van Halen was the reason I picked up a guitar, because he combined beautiful melodies and technical prowess with feel and phenomenal tones. Dave Grohl inspired me to be a performer when I play live, due to how he controls the pulse of the crowd at each show. I really respect producers like Pharrell who were able to be fluid in their ability to produce and be the artist, as well as Prince's excellent (and sometimes too precise) production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: First and foremost, I started off as a guitarist. I also specialize in production, mixing and engineering. From start to finish, I like to see a vision through, whether it be my own vision or another artist's.
