1 of 2 black recipients of Abbey Road Studio’s scholarship in Music Production and Audio Engineering and Studio Runner at the main studios in London. Specialises in vocal production, songwriting, production, mixing engineering, studio engineering and live music engineering.

Being in the music industry for 5 years, Mercy is a versatile vocalist that creates genre-bending music, influenced by R&B, hip-hop, and gospel. Her songwriting skillfully blends soulful melodies with strikingly observational and, witty lyrics. Previous collaborations include Zero T, Issata Sherrif, and K S R.

Mixing Engineering / Vocal Production: Mercy focuses on creating intricate harmonic arrangements and getting the best out of vocals. Certified Pro-Tools User, Logic Pro-X,
utilising plugins such as SoundToys, Waves, and Melodyne for creatively mixing vocals, and writing in sessions.

Audio Engineering: She was one of ten black women out of over 500 applicants chosen to be on Native
Management, Nao, and Mura Masa’s 3T course. They were taught about putting on tours at
academy, arena, and stadium level and were taught live audio engineering. At Abbey Road, Mercy has received training in studio engineering on SSL and Neve Consoles.

Her support includes plays on Radio 1 (on shows including, Rickey, Melvin and Charlie, and Jack Saunders’ Future Artists show) and support from BBC Introducing West. Support in the press comes from features in prominent publications such as Mixtape Madness, Clash, and Earmilk.
