BlackSkinny the artist and the creator of kush kid collectilez clothing line

I was born and raised on the South side of Chicago, DeMarlo "BlackSkinny" Hatchett; I'm a performing artist committed to the Hip-Hop culture. From an early age, I enjoyed performing impressions of my favorite artists such as; NWA, Public Enemy, Tupac, Rakim, Biggie, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg and other recording artist. My friends and I would often get together and act out scenes from our favorite music videos.

By the age of 16, I had developed my own style, a uniquely crafted blend of words and beats to tell of what I witnessed growing up in the "Hood," and what i had to overcome. I was deeply influenced by the traditional elements of Hip-Hop music, and the genres cultural integrity served as a source of inspiration fueling my determination to create the best work ever.
