I am a seasoned metal and funk drummer who specializes in finding the perfect grooves needed for the music at hand. My diverse drumming background allows me to create all kinds of interesting grooves and fills, and I pride myself on the ability to deliver creative drum parts.

My name is Trent Yurkovitch, and im a professional drummer and teacher based out of Chops Music Studio in Tampa, Florida. While my specialties definitely lie in the metal and rock fields, I also studied under John Blackwell (Prince, Justin Timberlake, Patti Labelle), so I spent years learning and perfecting grooves from artists such as Tower of Power, James Brown, and Prince. I love combining the two genres, as you can hear in the tracks ive provided.

I have been playing drums for nearly 20 years and recently renovated my studio to capture high quality recordings. Im currently using Pro Tools HD and offer up to 16 track recordings. Since im new to Soundbetter and remote tracking in general, I'll be offering my services at a reduced rate, so this is the perfect time to start a project with me!
