If you’re an artist, producer, composer, sound designer or musical director, Joe can adapt his recording process to meet your projects requirements.
- How It Works -
Send over your song/memo, how many guitar tracks you require & any reference guitar sounds. Joe will then record a rough take and send over via WhatsApp or email for your approval. If you require any guitar arrangement ideas, Joe will gladly provide some suggestions.
Once you’re happy with the guitar parts, Joe will then record and edit a guitar track for you and send over via we transfer as a 24 Bit WAV file.

Joe Badger is a Session guitarist based near London. He started his journey in original bands when he was 14, writing and recording songs whilst taking regular guitar lessons. His first original band recorded and released 5 E.PS as well as touring nationally.
Fast forward 20 years Joe has been performing and recording regularly with signed and unsigned artists as well as Musical Directing corporate cover band Xcaliber.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working with Britains Got Talent Finalist "Mike Woodhams"
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, it's a modern world and they both have there place!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: The guitar stems you receive will be high quality and edited to a professional standard.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Whats your turn around time? ANSWER: It can be a few days or a few weeks depending on my work load but I will always let you know before taking on your project. Can you provide DRY electric guitar stems? ANSWER: Yes I can provide DRY electric guitar stems to re-amped by the producer using plugins.

A: How many guitar tracks do you require? Do you have any reference songs or guitar parts that you like the sound of? How long is your track approximately?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you have any reference guitar sounds before enquiring that would be super helpful! :)

A: 20 + years

A: I would love to work with someone like Adam Lambert, his vocal range and tone is absolutely amazing!!

A: Make sure your guitar part always fits with the vocal melody and make sure you play with great feel.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Rock & Acoustic and Singer Songwriter.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Attention to detail & creating melody. lines that fit with songs and pretty chord sound that bring songs to life.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: High energy guitar parts, great tone, beautiful chord shapes, thick and chunky rhythm and uplifting guitar lines.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: - 1 hour learning the song - 30 min - 1 hour practising the song - 30 mins recording - 1 hour editing - 30 mins revisions Total: 4 hours
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Some of my favourite guitar tones and sounds can be found on Mutt Lange's productions, his Shania Twain album "Come On Over' is incredible alongside AC/DC. Acoustic guitar wise One Republic have some fantastic acoustic guitar tones.

A: Electric Guitar & Acoustic Guitar Multitracks

A: The buzz from recording when you come up with a great part for the song.
