WR Audio on SoundBetter

Between us we have two sets of ears, over 40 years experience and a wonderful custom-designed, hybrid analogue/digital studio in which to make your audio sound the best it can be.

We are Dan Watkins and Biff Roxby, otherwise known as WR Audio, and are based at our independent, custom-designed hybrid studio The WoodRooms in Manchester (UK).

We are all about helping to create exceptional recordings - using our combined experience to deliver top-quality production, recording, mixing and mastering services. Our goal is to bring out the full potential of a recording whatever stage of a project we are working on. We have worked with artists across a variety of genres both locally and globally.

Our mixing and mastering services are tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're looking for a clean and polished sound or something with more edge and attitude, we'll take the time to carefully analyse each individual track and use our hybrid analogue and digital setup to create a mix or master that compliments and enhances your music.

Our recording services benefit from three beautifully designed spaces - two live rooms and a booth. The larger of our two live rooms plays host to large string ensembles, traditional folk ensembles, rock, pop, soul, jazz and salsa bands to 12-piece free improv groups. The smaller of our live rooms is a treasure trove of instruments, rotary speakers and amplifiers. The booth is acoustically dry and the perfect space for capturing beautifully isolated vocals or a really tight sounding drum kit.

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.
