Leo Iwasaki on SoundBetter

Japanese songwriter, composer, singer & guitarist who creates and sings anime and Japanese-style songs.

Music is my life. I was born and raised in Tokyo and now have a recording studio. After the experience of being in a band, I became a signed composer and lyricist. I translate and localize lyrics between Japanese and English as well. I sing, compose, write, arrange, mix, and master songs.

I mainly work for games and animation theme songs. I provide songs that their fans would love to listen to. But of course, any genres are welcome. I work hard to deliver what is wanted and when I write songs or sing for the content, I deeply learn about it to make the outcome the best.

If you wish for some work that requires Japanese skills in music to get done, I am the guy you need. I can also find other Japanese people in the music industry here in Japan. (singers, composers, etc)

This is my second time working with Leo. This time, we went for a modern rock style song and he definitely delivered what I was looking for based on the references I provided. The vocals were well recorded and easy to mix. I would definitely recommend Leo if you are looking for a strong Japanese rock sound!

Leo is an absolute professional and super talented at what he does. I hired him to write a topline and Japanese lyrics for an instrumental of mine, with specific references to follow. He delivered exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be returning to hire Leo in the future.
