As a music producer, Melting Resonance is a multifaceted engineer and creative who spends his time pursuing the rewards of hard work. His style comes from a blend of musical influences and exploratory technological practices. Jack does not commit to genres and their preconceived boundaries. He likes to draw on a wide array of influences to create something new. Musically he draws from his background in funk, soul, pop, indie, lo-fi and jazz. Technologically, he uses his traditional foundation from large format recording studio practices but prefers a more experimental and intimate approach. Every guitar pedal, synthesizer, outboard gear or plug-in he uses has been thoroughly studied and manipulated to produce controlled experimentation and creativity. He likes the intimate environment of small personal recording studios as they allow for comfort, familiarity, experimentation and non-traditional approaches. The musical and technological sides of him are squeezed together leading to music that explodes out of speakers.
