Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, analog has a certain mojo to it and the digital performs the surgical precision.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That their happiness comes before all.

A: I enjoy helping others to bring their music to life.

A: Why choose you? Because I value the happiness of the customer above all. I have no ego and will ensure the highest quality product is in your hands in a timely manner.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think mixing is only technical but music is art though and through, I take that into consideration.

A: Do you have a reference track or song you like the sound of that you'd like your song to sound like?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you are 100% happy with the product.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A generator, internet reviver, laptop, usb mic and guitar haha
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for 12 years. I started out as a live engineer working for a local production company. I got to run FOH and monitors for a lot of artists I look up to.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Meticulous.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: John Mayer, his love of all things music is compelling.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never get in a habit of doing something just because.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic music, Jazz, rock, mostly music with live instruments.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Having the ear of a musician and the knowledge of an engineer.

A: Whatever the client asks for.

A: Organize tracks do a static mix, listen to groups of instruments, fix problems, balance, add automation and effects.

A: Hybrid setup using analog gear for the compression curves and mojo.

A: Vance Powell and his no nonsense approach to mixing. His attention to detail and his calm nature are inspiring.
