Classically-trained violinist with the ear and technique to achieve almost any sound and style. Can play by ear, chart, notated parts, or generate/improvise pads, licks, and solos. Deep voice (lowest note D2, even C2) suitable for adding warmth to harmonies, a capella, or spoken word.

My name is Will and I'm a recent conservatory graduate in Boston. I've played the violin since the age of four, and studied and performed on drums, bass guitar, and voice throughout the years, including professional gigs as a bass section leader in church choirs. I'm an experienced performer in a variety of settings and styles, from classical recital repertoire, string quartets and piano trios, to reading song arrangements for weddings and string parts for pop, singer-songwriter, and film scores in the studio. I have a solid foundation in theory, as well as perfect pitch and a trained ear, which allows me to learn your song quickly and even provide my own part arrangements, sweeteners, etc. even if you don't have fully fleshed-out parts written. My goal is always to provide you the best musicianship possible, whether you're familiar with strings and know exactly what you want, or just have a "vibe" in mind or a song you want to sound like. I really enjoy working on new music and am always happy to see what we can make happen in a session!
