Connor is great work with! Not only does he pay great attention to details, but he’s also got an incredible ear, and is a digital detective when it comes to decoding sounds. He will help you complete your song’s vision. Also, extremely knowledgeable about Serum, modulations, arps, basses, and the production in general that can be put on a specific song.

I love working with Connor because of his attention to detail, care, and enthusiasm for delivering the best final product possible. He truly is a joy to work with, and is someone who I can’t recommend enough to have mix and/or master your songs.

Connor goes above and beyond because he genuinely cares about making sure he gets the mix/master 100% the way you want it, while also taking masterful liberties in terms of getting the record to truly reach the next level. A pleasure to work with!
I've worked with Grem for a number of years and he always delivers on his mixes and masters. He works with me to deliver my vision, while answering every question I have and explaining each change and tweak he makes to the mix. He makes decisions on his mixes with a purpose, and ensures that the mix is sonically sound and radio ready.
Interview with Connor Gallihugh (Gremwave)
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Just finished working on two remixes for Minecraft's Pixel Genesis album! It was the first mix I got to do on my new Neumann 120's, and was also one of the easiest mixes I've done. S/O Hyper Potions for giving me such clean stems.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That they'll be super happy with the final product!!!!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the reactions I get from my clients when I nail a mix. Has to be one of the most rewarding feelings ever.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They'll usually ask if I can provide instrumentals or stems... of course I can! They'll also ask if I can match a particular song's mix... in which case I will thank them for doing the first part of my job by giving me a good reference track (of course I can :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started mastering for my first record label in 2016, after being commissioned to do a remix for them. They were impressed with how loud it was... and asked me to start working on on their other releases. I studied mixing and mastering heavily at Berklee, and spent years working on references and remaking other songs. In 2022, I started working for larger artists like Varien and Hyper Potions, and now I mix full time :)
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Mathematical, reference-based, clean! I'm very careful with each stem, making sure unwanted noise, resonances, and muddiness is taken care of.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't listen to people who tell you to avoid visual tools and rely on your ear! Humans make mistakes, and its best to use every tool available. Listen to it on your headphones, feel it on your subpac, watch it on a spectral analyzer, and let minimeters tell you when the kick is too loud.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What their reference track is, if they have dry stems, and when they need it done by ;)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, Voxengo SPAN, Ozone, a pair of HD-600's, and my Subpac.

- Official Minecraft Remixes OUT NOW!Sep 13, 2024
I got to Mix & Master two remixes for Minecraft and Hyper Potions this summer for their "Pixel Genesis" album! So excited for them to finally be out. I even helped produce the first drop in Featherfall!
I've been playing this game for half of my life... Couldn't have been a better opportunity.
- New Speakers!Sep 04, 2024
Thanks to my awesome clients and some really cool projects that I'm excited to announce, I was able to upgrade my monitors! I'm now using the Neumann KH 120 II Studio Monitors, which came with the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment Microphone.
I also got some hanging Pothos plants to give the studio a little bit more depth :)
Need to update my studio photos now!
