Helping artists achieve their bold, unique, and uncompromising visions is my passion. Making records is about catching lightning in a bottle — it requires creating an open, experimental, and collaborative vibe to allow artists to express themselves combined with the professional, technical, and creative experience to capture and elevate it.

Endorse Artifact IndustriesBen has mixed two songs for me and both tracks came out absolutely perfect! He is extremely versatile in his skillset and is familiar with the different indie genres I was referencing and able to get create the sounds I was trying to evoke in the songs. He also had fast turn around time, excellent communication, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the mixes. Definitely recommend!
I worked with Ben on my first album and he went above and beyond all expectations. He was responsive, collaborative, creative, and overall just a pleasure to work with. I'm really grateful that he was available to work with me on such an important project and help bring my vision to life. 10/10 recommend
I was looking for someone to mix and master my music and mutual told me about Ben and how he mixed and mastered his music. This led to him mixing and mastering my music as well. The quality work that Ben does takes all my songs to the next level that I could never have achieved on my own. I love making music but mixing and mastering is not my specialty and having Ben get my songs sounding infinitely better has inspired me to keep making music. Ben’s turnaround time is quick and whenever I am looking for changes in versions he send me he is fast to updating those and getting me a new mix.
Interview with Artifact Industries
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Getting a clear understanding of an artist's vision is always my first priority. I love to talk with them about their influences, how they think about their music, and where they want to go with it. Then it's a matter of going back-and-forth on a mix or a production or a master — there's nothing more instructive than giving them something concrete to react to and hearing their reactions! Usually they're very positive, but especially when working with a new client, there's a lot of nuance that comes out of the feedback process that informs everything we do thereafter.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My approach is to do whatever it takes to elevate my clients' songs — whether that means redoing the production from scratch, helping them find their signature sound, or simply providing that last 10% of polish through mixing or mastering. Going above and beyond is the key to building meaningful, long term relationships.
