Vocalist, Audio Engineer

I am a Vocalist Alto/MezzoSop, over 20 years experience, Audio Engineering and Live Sound Production

I began my journey with music when I was in elementary school. I first learned to play the viola. In 7th grade I moved over to the contrabass. In High school I took up choir. In college I majored in Psychology but spent all my time in the music department. I joined the choir and the jazz band and even toured Europe as a member in those capacities. After graduation (Fayetteville State University Dec 2001), I entered the military and for the next 8-10 years I nibbled and dabbled in music while working in the field of Aviation and Social Work. In 2009, I moved from my hometown of Fayetteville NC to Washington, DC (the DMV) for a new job opportunity in government service. Later that year I joined my first "band" , The 7 East Band and the rest is documentation for posterity (Chekmate Entertainment Band, Persevir Band, 4Lyfe Band, ADP, TCE).
Today, I am currently pursuing a degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University (B.S. Pschology, M.A. Sociology) and am always working on projects whether its, composition, recording, background or full vocals or live performances. My second career should have been my first.....my first love, music.
