Berklee graduate, uses degrees to make beep boop sounds. Let me make beep boop sounds for you!
New York based electronic and EDM producer and Berklee College of Music graduate. I specialize in songwriting, production, arranging, and mixing and am able to work in any genre (although my specialties are of course in electronic music and EDM). I can also play a multitude of instruments such as guitar, bass, and keys as well provide vocals.
Plus my mom says that I'm cool, so that has to count for something...

Interview with Candle Audio
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Just finished my new album "Level 4: Challengers". It was a huge project so right now, I'm just exploring what interests me sonically, seeing what I can do to further my own unique sound.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I push buttons on a computer all day. That's not entirely true, I try to fit in naps and weekly mental breakdowns in between pushing buttons.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: -What will this project be used for? -How long do you want it to be (and will it loop)? -What's the vibe you're going for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be as specific as possible when asking for what you want! The more details the better and please provide reference tracks!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Headphones, Notebook, Keyboard, my iLok so I can actually use all of my gear...
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing music ever since I was a little kid. Started on piano and voice and eventually started playing guitar. I got into production
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I focus a lot of interesting chords and melodies! I like making catchy melodies that stay in people's heads forever!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Madeon, Hyper Potions, or Zedd would be a dream come true! Some smaller artists I'd love to work with are OBLYVN and VGR.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Music theory doesn't help you write good music, it just helps you write good music faster! (Actual tip: if a certain sound isn't cutting through, instead of turning that sound up, turn everything competing with it down.)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic or EDM music either for artists, games, streamers, or otherwise!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Songwriting by far! I've been writing music ever since I was in high school and I've taken many classes in songwriting, production, and arranging. That's not to say I can't do anything else, just that this is by far my biggest strength as both a producer and a musician.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I use a lot of creative music theory to add a certain level of complexity to a song without removing it's accessibility. I like adding little things that people might only catch on the 100th listen, whether it be a certain sound or something in the melody or chords.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Get an idea. Outline song structure. Take a nap. Turn equipment on. Stare at DAW, trying not to let my personal demons in. Don't let them in. DON'T LET THEM IN. Song's done!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Just a small bedroom set up at the moment. Using a MacBook with Ableton Live plugged in to my Apollo Twin X. I use Sennheiser HD650s for headphones and JBL 305s for monitors.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Madeon, Hyper Potions, and Snail's House I'd say are biggest inspirations. I aim to get my personal productions as good and as clean as theirs and I will not stop until I feel as if though I have achieved this! I am also a huge fan of Panic! At The Disco and they definitely inspired the way I write lyrics!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually offer my services anywhere in the songwriting process! This could be making a song from scratch, building a song around someone's melody, to even just simply fixing vocals to mixing. Anything you need help with, I can do!
