Hi There, I am a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. I started playing drums at age 10 so no wonder I fell in love with beatboxing. I have continued to evolve my style as a one-woman band and using a looper to develop both live and in the studio. I record on my Apollo interface thru a Fairchild compressor with an RE20 mic (known for radio broadcasting and also a favorite of Thom Yorke).
The human voice is an instrument like no other! I'd love to help add that special something to your project. As a vocalist, I have drawn comparisons to Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman and Macy Gray. You can listen to lots of me singing lead as Kristen Ford on the interwebs.
