Interview with lmterritory
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Palinkėki - @Kylok, @Urboo and myself. The instrumental has really catchy melodies, different arps, flutes, keys, aswell as a crazy bass. I am very proud of this project, because I got a chance to work with very talented artist who inspire and motivate me by their own projects. My role: I produced the music, mixed it, recorded 2 verses sent it over.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Your Drums are going to be punchy like Mike Tyson, Bass - fat like Peter Griffin and Vocals - clean like a classroom during covid-19
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The Arctic Monkeys, because I literally dreamt, had vivid/lucid-like dreams of them for 3 times now and still counting;
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Sidechain/compress melodies and bass, to make some room for vocals and the rest of the drums.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic, hyperpop, withch house.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill are melodies and drums, because I have been making/learning music for around 5-6 years now, I got to learn my genre and the sweetspots in mixing it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My touch fills the song with punchiness, db's, crazy layered bass, and HOOKING melodies (listen to Palinkėki by @Kylok), (Soksi su manim by @lmterritory1) and pay attention to the sound selection.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical production process is to make punchy drums, arrange them in a addictive order and then plug in my MIDI keyboard and start playing around with different synths/effects and make them all mix.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Simpl:, a laptop, KRK 6th audio monitors, Alesis Vi61 MIDI keyboard, and I am good to go;
