hi! I’m a record producer, audio engineer and musician and I want to help you make the project you want to make!

Hi! I’m Matteo.

I’ve been recording and producing artists, as well as making my own art for the better part of a decade. I come from a background that forced me to understand every project is nuanced, unique, and requires a different type of care to help it cross the finish line. My recording and mixing philosophies are what some people refer to as “old school”: I think the best records are captured well at their beginning, and are only made better after the fact.

Things I do well:
-LISTEN to the client. Your opinion is what matters most! There is nothing more important.
-make things sound good, balanced, and very importantly, real.
-use a ton of analog mixing gear to achieve that!

If you end up hiring me, you’ll get a product that isn’t a bunch of drum samples spliced onto tracks: I love to work with things that have been recorded well and make them sound great.
