Previously signed to Universal with 2 publishing deals. 6 albums, viral tracks, and toplines that stick.
Hi, I’m Brian - I'm an Irish songwriter with 20 years of experience and a sharp ear for melody, lyric and emotional punch.
I’ve released 6 albums, toured internationally, and opened for acts like Nile Rodgers, Janelle Monáe, and De La Soul. My song Clap Both My Hands became one of the most-played tracks on Irish radio and led to a deal with Universal.
As a co-writer, I’ve helped craft tracks that hit #1 on Spotify’s UK Viral Chart and landed syncs on shows like Lucifer. I’ve written with artists and writers including Blair MacKichan (Sia, Kendrick Lamar), Louise Goffin, and Gregory Phillips.
Topline is my specialty — vocal melodies and lyrics that don’t just fit, but stick. If you’ve got a project that needs real emotional edge and unforgettable hooks, I can help.
Let’s build something.
How I can help:
I’ll help pinpoint the emotional core of your music and craft lyrics, hooks, and melodies that cut straight to it — making your song resonate and stand out.
Note: I provide demo vocals to illustrate melodies and hooks, but full vocal performances are not included.
Full lyrics buyout is also possible - just let me know .

Interview with Brian Deady
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: “I’m deep into a new personal music project—exploring process over product. Always a student, always refining the craft.”
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Whatever gear you have right now - is ALL you need to take the next step
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I'm helping people love what they do
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Sometimes we push too hard down paths we think are right, burning out in the process. The key is pushing in the right direction—when that alignment happens, it shows up in your life and flows naturally into your music.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A voice recorder
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Stop trying
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is helping artists clarify their creative vision while breaking down complex projects into manageable steps. I guide them to trust their intuition without losing sight of structure, so their work stays both authentic and focused.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a deep understanding of what the artist is trying to say. Songwriting is a delicate balance between logic and intuition, and I help artists find that sweet spot where both intersect—allowing the creative flow to happen naturally and meaningfully.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Every project is different , and should be treated so , I start by understanding where the artist or project is at—what’s working, what’s stuck, and what their goals are. From there, I tailor a plan that combines creative strategy with practical steps: organizing sessions, managing timelines, and building habits that keep momentum going. We meet regularly (usually weekly) to review progress, troubleshoot roadblocks, and adjust the plan as needed, always keeping the focus on moving the work forward without getting lost in perfectionism.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I help artists and producers who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or scattered with their creative projects. Together, we develop practical workflows, set realistic timelines, and create consistent routines to bring clarity and focus to their process — so they can move past creative blocks and finish what matters.
