I have loved music for as long as I can remember, and I have been fortunate enough to be producing music at a commercial level for the past 8 years. Even achieving a degree and master's! Everything about making songs inspires me. From producing and songwriting to art direction and branding, if it is part of the process, I love it.

I am a Multi-Genre producer and multi-instrumentalist focusing on high-energy dance, and beautiful RnB tracks taking influence from; Meduza, Joel Corry, Bicep, Fred Again, Majestic, Sza, Daniel Ceaser, Sabrina Claudio, Kaytronada. I have a decade of experience, specialising in ascending artists’ creative ideas and developing them into their own unique commercial songs. I have accumulated over 300,000 streams worldwide and have produced briefs from labels such as; Armada, Universal, BMG, Ultra, UMG, Sony and Selected to name a few.

Interview with Sam Green

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked alongside an artist that I really admire, and we were able to bring out the best traits in each other to ensure a great quality outcome. The song was picked up by a label and received some great radio play! We were both really proud of the project.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: A professional outcome!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The process of making music for myself and others to enjoy lights a fire within me that I absolutely love!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What inspires you? What kind of music do you listen to? Who is your favourite artist? What is the strongest trait you bring to sessions?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for a decade! I got my start by self-releasing my own music that accumulated over 300,000 streams worldwide. That opened up doors in major events for me to DJ, and also some great radio play. I then completed a MA at Tileyard which opened up connections in the industry and enabled me to collaborate with industry professionals. I now work alongside a publishing team and regularly partake in sessions for industry professionals, alongside doing this!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do your very best work, review it, and then do better!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by all types of music. Typically I have released dance music under my own alias but I have a strong passion for performing and making R&B music as well.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I love to write with other songwriters and ensure that their projects are brung to life in a way that they can be proud of. I never like to settle for mediocre and always give my best to get that extra 10% out of everything.
