Interview with SoundBreakStudios
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently self producing an EP for my band. Should be released by April this year.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Why would you limit yourself to one?
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Bringing life to an artist/bands music. The autonomy it brings.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've producing, mixing, and mastering seriously for 2 years. My music background consists of 9 years of guitar, 3 years of drums.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Erra, The Afterimage, Skeyes, Sea In The Sky, Invent Animate, All are ambitious bands in their own right.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore, anything in the heavier side of music. If it sounds anything like, Erra, After the Burial, Northlane, Forevermore, Born Of Osiris, Reflections, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, As I Lay Dying, etc, then it's for me.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the artist's/band's vision to life, while also adding my own unique stamp to it.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Erra is my favorite band. Inspired to push my musicianship to new level. And coincidentally, my favorite producer is Brian Hood, who produced all of Erra's music up until 2014.
