I am a cellist based in Montreal, QC, and New York City- but I do session work remotely. I previously lived in Japan which is why most of my pop/soundtrack experience took place during that time. These days my career is focused in solo contemporary/chamber music performances, but I still do quite a bit of remote session work.
I use a Royer R-121 ribbon microphone and have a home studio set-up. I currently play on an incredible instrument, a copy of the Marquis de Corberon Stradivarius that lends an great tone, resonance, and depth to any recording.
