Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio is setup in a way that creativity and technicality can live well together. I really appreciate both worlds and I think that a successful music project has both. For this reason I have set up my studio in a way that I can create loops, beats and write songs, but also can mix and master in it.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Noah "40 " Shebib inspires me for the sound he brought forward in the 2010s and how innovative it was. Alan Parsons for the way in which he successfully balanced audio engineering with a personal artistic project. J-Cole for his lyrics, story-telling and amazing freestyle skills. Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres for being the amazing Colombian Hitmakers they are. Also for their work ethic.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I help in song creation. This can be in any of the following stages or throughout the entire process. Song-Writing: I sit down with artists and songwriters to compose the lead of a song. I have worked in many genres such as R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Pop Urbano, Pop-Punk and even Mexican Regional! Production: I take composed songs and make arrangements for it, record them, and/or sequence them. My favorite productions include real recorded instruments and electronic sequenced ones. Tracking Vocals: I sit down with the artist and make sure they deliver their best possible takes. Comping and Tuning Vocals: I pick the best takes and edit them to rhythmic and pitch perfection. Mixing: I sculpt the sound of fully recorded songs and projects to make them sound perfect. Mastering: I check the full sound of the mix as a whole to make sure everything is nice, loud, warm and competitive.
