Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: This is my third year working in my Alias KATZZ and im really proud of it. Its like im finding my own sound and my own style. The process is slow but im so excited with this!!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: In my music for KATZZ & La Vida Salvaje and in other projects for other artists
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Why not?
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: They are gonna be happy with the result ;)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: To surround myself with music.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Having a clear vision of what you want in terms of genre, sound, etc... Thats very important for me in order to deliver a good job.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, headphones and my Moog Grandmother
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I´ve been doing this for 13 years. I studied sound engineering in Madrid to get a bit more on the technical side of sound and the music industry.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Intimate.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Maybe with Meduza, i really like how that guys process the sound. They are high quality.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make your own thin a get carried away with your soul and your feelings.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic and commercial music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: All the music that i´ve heard during my life. It has given to me a lot of tools that i use when i work on musical projects.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Soul. Thats what music means to me.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends. When i have to do a ghost production i star listening some references of the same genre that my client wants me to work in. Then i try to write down some ideas of melodies, bass, drums. Sometimes i star with a loop and the i create around it a whole track... In Mixing and Mastering i always ask for some references to my client so i can take specific decisions on the sound of my client´s track.

A: It such a big list of year. I´ve put it on my description.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: It really depends of the genre because i listen a lot of diferent types of music. I really like rock, house, jazz, indie rock, flamenco, latin music...
