I'm a professional audio engineer specialised in location recording, production and streaming of classical music. My academic career includes computer science applied to music, classical piano and audio engineering, that I studied in Paris, Milan, Novara and Pittsburgh. Recording is a research to carry on with the sensibility of each musician.

  4. A: Live recordings of contemporary music.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I started studying in this field and will never stop. Bachelor's in Computer science applied to music. Bachelor's and Master's in classical piano. Many experiences in Pittsburgh and Paris (Philarmonie de Paris, Conservatoire supérieur).

  10. A: Transparent, profund.

  12. A: Anyone who is really interest in the sound itself, since today everything is oriented to VIDEO + audio.

  14. A: Classical music, acoustic music.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: Being a professional musician like me is crucial when it comes to record this genre of music. The knowledge of what I'm recording is extremely important to make the right choices to find the best sound. The interaction with musician is also very important when recording a CD.

  18. A: Knowing the music I'm going to record. Listen to the musicians and the room. Choosing the right type and microphone placement. Recording (artistic direction included). Editing, mixing, mastering. Reviewing the work with the client until he is completely satisfied.
