Yo! My name is SXRG (pronounced Serge) and I'm a music producer, audio engineer, and songwriter based in Queens, New York. I also write produce trap, drill, house, and dancehall, and pop music and work primarily with a couple of artists here in NYC, but I would love to produce for you too.
I always work with my clients to make sure they're happy with the results of their songs and I believe my work speaks for itself, so check out the samples I provided. If you like what you hear, book me!

Interview with SXRG
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-Hop, R&B, Electronic/House, Dancehall, Afrobeats
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For production it changes from song to song. I could start with chords, or a sample, or a bass line, or drums, and I essentially iterate versions until it's complete. For mixing I have a template that I set up with everything already routed. So I import clients' stems, then I listen for what could potentially be the focal elements of the song, have a conversation with the client about it to make sure we're on the same page, and then I mix the song, starting with those elements and building everything else around them. For writing the process can vary, but I'll usually pick or receive a concept, and come up with some flows and/or melodies I like, then come up with words that fit well with those melodies, and the concept.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have my own project studio in Brooklyn, NY, and have everything I need to make great music. I have a couple of synthesizers, a preamp and Compressor, and an extensive plugin library.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak, Pharrell, Kaytranada, Diplo, Toro y Moi, and Little Dragon to name just a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing, Production, Writing, Recording, Mastering.
