Producer & Engineer
Tokyonite is a producer, and engineer from Nairobi, Kenya. I began making music on Ableton in high school when he got his first laptop. I later studied Graphic Design and Animation in college, and worked as a graphic designer for about two years before quitting to pursue music full-time. I'm currently based in Nairobi.
Playing at the dichotomy of light and dark, producer and multi-instrumentalist Tokyonite produces dance music with deadly basslines. Tokyonite started producing electronic music inspired by Deep House sound, stumbling on viral hits with R&B and Pop remixes. He got inspiration from many artists like; Duke Dumont, MK, Discloser, Calvin Harris, Route 94 and more.
