I’m Arnoud, the engineer behind Noise Floor Studio.

I believe the best mixes don’t just sound good, they make you feel something. Your song already has its own character, energy and identity. My job is to bring those qualities forward without sanding away what makes it yours.

I mainly work with indie, alternative and rock artists, especially guitar-driven music, self-recording artists and producers. If you’ve made something you believe in but feel it’s not quite there yet, I’d love to hear it.

My approach combines modern mixing precision with the character and feel of analog equipment. I use tape, saturation, transformers and outboard processing when they add something meaningful, weight, texture, depth or energy. The gear is never the goal. The song is.

I mix and master as one creative process, taking your track all the way to a finished, release-ready record. I care about the details, but always keep the bigger picture in mind. Does the vocal feel connected? Do the drums move the song? Does the whole thing make you want to turn it up?

Every song needs a different approach. I don’t have a formula, and I don’t want every record to sound like mine.
