Interview with Ludwig Broström

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A rich combination of Soul, Hip Hop, R&B, Funk and Jazz with taste of swing and groove, tight dry drums combined with smooth soul'y chords and sprinkles of melodies. Hints of vintage colour, saturation and tape with goal of a smooth and silky sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I strive to take the best advice from as many successful and professional engineers and producers I can, whether that's nitpicking into breakdowns, understanding procedures or implementing advice from people that clearly hasn't gotten to their place with luck. There is many aspects of every step in the creative process and many factors that play a role, hence every project and focus is situational and varies from project to project, whether that's mixing, writing or recording.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The production, songwriting and general creative aspects of the musical process is my area of work. I intend to create, adjust and adapt to the specific needs and vibes you as a client desire in combination with a sprinkle of my personal taste and ideas. If that means recording keys, helping out with backing vocals or general support during the most important part of the creative process I am here to help!
