Can you share one music production tip?
Be efficient. Second guessing yourself is not a bad thing. It makes you a real artist if you do. However, its a curse as well. You have to go with your gut.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Pop and Rock Music.
What's your strongest skill?
What do you bring to a song?
Honesty. Something that makes people relate to something without it being blatantly obvious or just so far gone they can't comprehend.
What's your typical work process?
I can write a good pop song in just about or under 10 mins on my own. I have always had a "gift" for doing so. People are shocked when I tell them the small amount it takes me to write a song. My brain just never shuts off.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I usually work out of two studios. However, I have my own professional equipment in my home as well.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
I am inspired by artists who push the "artistic envelope" so to speak. I am a huge glam rock fan. I am inspired by people such as Bowie and Gaga, but also am inspired by Sinatra and Winehouse. I am inspired by music of all types as long as they mean something.
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
I co-write with a lot of clients. I think it's important to have that human connection. Our world is lacking a lot of that today.
