ABOUT ME:
I built my band from the ground up, signed to a label for hundreds of thousands of dollars, sold out shows touring the world, played latenight TV, all the major festivals, recorded at Abbey Road and countless other studios.
I have worked with Nicotine Dolls, Death Cab For Cutie, Augustines, Brian Fallon, Wild Rivers, Somebody’s Child, The Moth and The Flame and many more as a producer, mixer, musician, and engineer.
I own and operate Harbor Studios in Brooklyn, NY, a fully outfitted 2000 square foot studio with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and NY Harbor.
WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU:
If you need a bassline composed, performed, and recorded, I can deliver.
If you have a song and need it to get to the next level, I can work as a producer. I’m an expert in hearing music (whether it’s a voice memo or a fully developed multitrack) and honing in on the key aspects needed to elevate the track.
I have a vast network of world-class musicians and engineers to call on and I’m also fully capable with bass, drums, guitar, synths, and piano.
If all you need is vocal tuning, editing, quantizing, or other processing I’m here for you.
Lastly, I’m a finisher. I’ve mixed and mastered songs on the Billboard charts with tens of millions of streams. You can trust I’ll deliver what you’re after.

Endorse Eric E. SandersonA through and through professional with a calm demeanor and an inviting, open mind. He mixed my debut album and I couldn’t be happier with it. Eric has a keen ability to hear what your intention is as well as what’s on the track. He helped me develop ideas and try interesting things, all in the service of my vision rather than his own. Cannot wait to make my next record and have him as a vital part of it.

Eric E. Sanderson is an incredible producer/engineer/performer. I have had the pleasure of recording at his breathtaking yet cozy studio in Redhook, Brooklyn and I highly recommend you do the same. Great sounds, great gear and great vibes !!
Working with Eric has been such a joy. Together we have taken voice memos and taken them into unexpected and immeasurably satisfying territory. Eric is more than a producer or engineer. He is an active participant whose only goal is to serve the project and elevate the sonic palette. Through working with Eric, i continue to better myself as a musician, songwriter, and singer. I am excited to see where we go from here. I cannot overstate what a joy working with Eric has been since day one.
I've worked with Eric on various projects over the years. He is an excellent and intuitive producer who creates a welcoming and easy going environment. As a multi-instrumentalist, Eric is super versatile. His studio in Red Hook is one of the more interesting locations to record in the NYC area, it feels like a destination studio right here in Brooklyn. Highly recommended.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Eric on numerous projects, and he consistently delivers outstanding results. He has a phenomenal ear for music, killer chops when it comes to mixing and production, and a distinctive style that never sounds cookie-cutter. His creativity, attention to detail, and ability to elevate any track make him an invaluable collaborator. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
I've worked with Eric as a musician with The Augustines as well as a keyboardist and producer on several other artists. He's a force. A multi instrumentalist who can handles many genres of music.I look forward to working with him in the future.
I've known Eric since his earliest days knocking around in Brooklyn bands, starting with Pela, a group which evolved into Augustines. Recently I discovered Audio Journal, Vol.1 a low-key album of collected experiments he released as Augustines were going on hiatus. It's been incredible hearing his evolution from essentially "a band making a demo tape" to someone that has turned the studio into his primary instrument.
Working with Eric Sanderson on a German production for a large audience was nothing short of extraordinary. He brings an infectious curiosity, deep musical intuition, and a calm, confident presence to every project. His ability to elevate ideas—while remaining incredibly grounded and collaborative—makes him a rare kind of artist and professional. Eric doesn’t just produce music; he creates space for creativity to flourish. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat.
8 years of working with eric and im still excited to see what we find. He is endlessly curious and committed to following every idea.
Eric is musical wizard and an absolute gent to match. He has an inspiring presence and personality. He’s extremely passionate about the projects he works on and the music he produces. I’d encourage any artist to work with him. JH
Eric is the absolute BEST!
Eric is a real professional. He knows the music world and has navigated it for many years. His studio set up in Red Hook is awesome! If you want an experienced professional who is also just a great person, then I highly recommend Eric for your music project!
Eric is an absolute joy to work with. Over the past decade, he's recorded my accordion for several albums, and every time, he brings out the best in my playing. His Red Hook studio is a dream space for musicians—not just for its top-tier equipment and pristine sound quality, but also for its unbeatable view of the New York Harbor. Beyond his immense talent as a musician, producer, and engineer, Eric's supportiveness and thoughtfulness shine both inside and outside the studio, making him not just a great collaborator but a true friend. I can't wait for my next project with him!

Eric has a fantastically curious and exploratory approach as an engineer and producer. He is intuitive and so talented, and thanks to his musical instincts and ideas the track we worked on together sounds so much fuller and more incredible than I ever envisioned it on my own. Looking forward to making more with him!
Hello,
Just wanted to leave some thoughts here on Eric. I’ve been playing music with Eric for 24 years, And he has been a part of every record I’ve ever put out going back to 2004.
At the risk of sounding like an overflowing well of pride here, Bluntly put the world is lucky to play with the guy. It is a privilege to have been on stages all around the world, tour buses and studios abroad or here in America. You would be hard-pressed to find somebody as transformative. And along with music you get a compassionate humanitarian and very responsible man that just wants good for the world.-BM
