Interview with Celestial Studios

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: I have no preference, it depends on what are you trying to achieve. Digital and Analog equipment are tools and I personally reach for whatever tool I need to achieve the sound I am looking for.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I love working with artists. I know that sounds cliche but there is something special about being involve with someones vision and art. There is a nirvana I get when I become apart of your art.

  5. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  6. A: The biggest misconception is the difference between a mixing engineer and mastering engineer. One engineer to mix the product, a different engineer to master the project.
