Andrew Torgelson is an LA-based musician and composer from Seattle. In 2022 Andrew graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music, where he was mentored by Jason Goldman, Bob Mintzer, Alan Pasqua and Vince Mendoza. Andrew has performed around the world in venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Jazz a Vienne and the Umbria Jazz Festival. Andrew is passionate about musical education and has worked with hundreds of students in Seattle and LA of all ages and all levels. In the past year, Andrew has toured the US with bands Sir Please, Sarah and the Sundays and the renowned REO Speedwagon and his currently working on his debut album of original compositions inspired by the forests and fjords of Norway.
