Singer Songwriter and Folk mixing and mastering engineer, who happens to be a producer and musician as well! I started studying all by myself about music recording to share my music with the world, and when I noticed, I was already investing all my time and money into this project. I hope we can work together!
My name is Rodrigo Pandelo, and I'm a 34 years old Mixing and Mastering engineer specialized in Folk and Singer Songwriter music. I am also a producer and musician myself, and I live in Santos/SP, Brazil.
I started to study about mixing, mastering, producing and all related audiovisual stuff in 2018, when I decided to start to share my music with the world. At the time, I only used to do covers, but I noticed that I got more and more involved with the art of produce, mix and master music.
Now, I can say with confidence that I have invested all my time, money and passion into this project, and I do believe that I can provide a great result for your mixes with the knowledge and tools I have, all with a great price.

Interview with Rodrigo Pandelo
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Myself! As I told, it all started with me trying to share music with the world, and I'm really proud of the results. It started shy and without much knowledge, and now I can say that if I the "me from the past" were looking myself where I am now, I would be really glad. :D
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Like most things in life, there are good and bad things in everything. The warmth of analog paired with the tools of digital are a perfect match! That's why I'm working in a hybrid system.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: SSL SiX, Sennheiser MD441, KM184, Martin hd28 and a m1 Macbook.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started by curiosity, researching how could I record my songs to share them with the world... now, a few years later and countless hours of study after that, I am working with the thing I love the most in my life: making music!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Chill and smooth... hahaha!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Joshua Radin and Jeffrey Martin, because they have the same musical vibe as me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Capture it right at the source, so you don't need to fix it in the post... the post must to work your taste and creativity, not to fix stuff.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly Folk and Singer Songwriter style, in acoustic stripped down songs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The center of my studio is a SSL SiX, that I use to mix and analog summing. I also use the SSL UC1 to mix and print the SSL flavor on the recordings and into the mixing process as well. A lot of nice microphones are at my disposal in the recordings I do: Neumann u87ai, km184, kms105, DPA 2028, Sennheiser MD441... and a few others.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and Mastering of stripped down acoustic songs.
