I worked with Lou and hired him to mix and master my debut EP, and I would absolutely recommend him!

His attention to detail and technical skill with audio engineering/mixing is fantastic, and he is very effective and accurate when making alterations based on feedback. He was also extremely timely with his services, and is an all-around great person with an excellent ability to connect with the client. I've never heard my mixes with as much clarity and quality before working with Louis.

I have been working with Lou for over a year and he is a force to be reckoned with. He is an amazing and talented all around producer and multi instrumentalist on top of being a kind and considerate human!
He is adaptable and easy going, non judgemental but honest in what he hears. He is my go to for soulful track production and mixing. We have done over 10 tracks together so far! Hire louis!!!

Louis is hands down one of the most talented mix and recording engineers I have ever met and his production is brilliant. He truly connects with his clients, he works quickly and professionally, and his music always moves people whether it's a soul joint, a pop smash, or some heavy hitting hip hop. He's legit!

I've been working with Lou for the last 10 months. I began very lost and unsure of myself and my music. Now, I know that Lou saw potential in me that I didn't see myself. He's provided tremendous direction and support as a friend, producer, and engineer. He understands music but more importantly, people. I highly recommend working with Lou if you want results and to move forward with your music.

Interview with Louis Bartolini

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: Hip-Hop, Soul, RnB, Singer Song Writer, Rock and Reggae.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: Taste. I follow my gut and really try to think out side the box on every record. I am very technically educated and efficient but think more like an artist then a sound engineer. Really paying attention to vision of every record.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I have a recording studio right in the heart of Hollywood. Incredible vibe and even better sound. I have an extensive collection of analog tube and solid state pre-amps, compressors, Eq's and too many plug-ins (if there is such a thing) to mention.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: There is no typical process for me. I treat every project differently.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Both for different reasons.

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Make sure they take the time to do it right and understand your vision.

  13. Q: How would you describe your style?

  14. A: Artist forward.

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: Less is more.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: I produce and mix a wide range of musical genres. Helping artists reach their goals both musically and sonically.
