Hi, I'm Jean-Charles (O.N.L), a mastering engineer based in Paris.
I master techno, hard techno, industrial, trance and hardcore. Since 2020, more than 3,500 tracks for producers and labels: Nico Moreno, DYEN, Vladimir Cauchemar, Luca Agnelli, Rave Alert, Mass London, Trashtek, Neotrance, Dusk Records...
Hard music has to be loud. The real work is keeping the kick and the sub clean when it is, so the track still hits on a big system and not only in headphones.
Before mastering, I listen to your mix and tell you honestly if something would be better fixed at the source (kick and bass balance, a limiter left on the bus, harsh highs). It's free, and it often makes a bigger difference than the master itself.
How it works:
• You send your track, plus one or two references if you have them
• We talk about the mix if needed
• Your master comes back in 24 to 48h
• Up to 2 revisions included
I also offer stem mastering and mixing.
I come from DJing and production, so I check every master the way it will be played: in a club.

A: I work only digital. I chose that solution for the flexibility, the easy recalls and the short deadlines easy to respect. You can get your track ready in less than 48h.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do digital mastering for my clients. I also spend a lot of time doing feedback on production.
