Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Manly vocal technique and songwriting skills.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Listen to the audio snippets to get a first impression.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been writing and recording since about 5 years, although singing since I was 6.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I am a perfectionist, delivering original vocals and paying attention to detail in the process. I am willing to do revisions to reach the desired outcome.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Whether they have any reference voices or a specific style in mind that I can follow and also how much room they want to give me for my own interpretation and input of their song.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: That I am free working on my own terms, doing what I love and constantly learning new things in different areas. Also having full responsibility and relying solely on my skillset while still co-creating with others.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Detailed, diverse, ornated.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Sometimes it's better to stick with the first idea/ impression of a song, you can always change stuff later on but moving from there, it's always the truest.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Every project is very different and because I'm a multi-genre artist that likes to experiment I've been working on vocal scat improvisation for jazz standards same as singing rnb vocals to an old school boom bap beat or rapping to an alternative dreamy trappy instrumental with or without autotune, both in English and German. I am a fan of odd, experimental beats with weird synths and sometimes dubby undertones but still catchy enough to feel it. Working with DJ's I've explored breakbeats, jungle, drum and bass and garage.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I really admire Alicia Keys workflow and Ariana Grandes approach to vocals and harmonies. I like SZA's songwriting, she is very figurative and metaphorical with her words but still approachable and relatable in her storytelling.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd like to work with Ojerime, I really like her sturdy laid back RnB vocals but with a dark and haunting undertone that I haven't seen anywhere else so far.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mostly record vocals either singing or rapping and add backings (if wanted) that support the energy of the song. Sometimes I write partial or full lyrics or topline to an instrumental that is given to me. I am open to work in different lanes such as advertisement or film; whether you need a demo track or your own personal creative project needs completion, I am ready.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Interpreting songs in my own unique style, creating harmonies above and below, adding ad-libs that fit the vibe and backings of different texture

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Honesty, skill, clean but soulful vocals.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have a home studio featuring a stage piano, a midi keyboard and two microphones where I can play and record to my heart's content. If that isn't enough, there are also other studio spaces with different equipment I have access to that will surely suit your needs.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I listen carefully and ask questions to find out as much as possible to make sure you really get what you want. I am patient and ready to put my heart and soul into the track. When I first listen to your music I try to catch the vibe and think about what I feel and which style best suits the song.
